Types Of Applications

At Bradley, there are two options to choose from when applying, the Bradley App and the Common App. While both applications ask for the same information, the Common App allows you to apply to more than one university at the same time. At Bradley, about 70% of students choose the Common Application.

How Much Is The Application Fee?

It’s FREE! Nothing, zip, nada! That’s right, at Bradley, we do not have an application fee.

Application Periods

Bradley offers three admission periods for freshman: Early Action, Regular, and Extended. Early Action benefits include full academic scholarship consideration and first opportunities to begin signing up for housing and orientation.

Know The Deadlines!

We know that applying to universities can be a scary time, but if you prepare yourself by knowing the deadlines, you can create a nearly stress-free process. Bradley’s application deadlines are:

• July 1: Bradley Application opens
• August 1: Common Application opens
• September 10: Early Action admission decisions begin on a rolling basis
• October 1: Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) becomes available
• November 1: Early Action Deadline
• November 2: Regular Admission begins
• Mid-November: Financial Aid notification begins
• February 1: Regular Admission Deadline
• February 2: Extended Admission continues as space and scholarships are available
• May 1: Enrollment Reply Deadline

Advantages Of Applying Early

The sooner you complete your application, the sooner you get these advantages:

• Financial aid awards within three weeks of admission
• Earlier look at summer orientation dates
• Earlier look at housing options
• Apply now and you will have until May 1 to make your enrollment decision.

What Do You Need To Submit?

Once you have submitted your application, there are a few more steps left to complete the application process. You will need to submit:

• An official copy of high school transcripts sent to Bradley directly from your high school.
• One letter of recommendation is recommended, but not required. In some cases, more letters may be helpful. 
• One- or two-page personal statement or essay. Be sure to include your full name on each page.

Do I Need To Submit A Test Score From ACT Or SAT?

No. Standardized test scores are truly optional. We welcome you to send them if you choose, but you will not be required to submit a test score to be admitted, for scholarship consideration, or to attend Bradley.
