The Beginning of the Last Semester!!

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful winter break, I am now back at school and the time has come, I am now experiencing the last semester of my college career - I can’t believe it. Time has passed by so quickly. Yesterday, was actually my first last day of class…sorry if this seems a little sentimental it’s just amazing to see how fast time has flown by.  I actually had to come back early to host and compete at one of the biggest tournaments of the nation, many people like to call it winter nationals. The tournament is called Hell Froze Over, or H.F.O. it was actually the 10th annual tournament and the reason it was named HFO was because 10 years ago there was a huge rivarly between University of Texas at Austin and Bradley University and people were getting kind of tierd of speech. So both schools decided to host a tournament together and if two teams who had such a huge rivalry can get together to host and compete at a tournament to do what they love the most, speech, then everyone should think alike and remember why they are doing speech -  because you love the activity. I would like to say that Bradley did very well at the tournament I broke for the first time to a final round in Dramatic Interpretation and to a semi-final round in Program Oral Interpretation, it was an amazing experience.

But  now school has started and we’re off to getting back into the grove of things. I can’t wait to continue telling you all about my experiences here at BU because although its just one story from one person BU has made a huge difference in not only who I have turned out to be but also many others.
