Fall Break has flown by…

As I said earlier, instead of staying in lovely Peoria, the Bradley Speech Team headed down to the  University of Alabama to compete in two tournaments. As a team we did amazing we placed 2nd place behind Western Kentucky who had 4 times the number of people we did, individually I received 4th place in poetry  (one of the events I competed in).

The 12 hour van ride back to peoria was exhausting but fortunately I was able to get some sleep on our way home. The crazy thing was that once I got back to campus around 7 a.m. I went home got ready and went straight to work.  Last Monday was the one of the biggest visit days at Bradley so I reported to work at 9:30 a.m. and gave some awesome tours. After the first two tours I gave, we (the tour guides) were treated to some amazing Old Chicago pizza and appetizers, yummy! So, it was a long day and I was so exhausted I fell asleep at 8 p.m. …yeah for the catching up on zzz’s.

As you can see from this past weekend I am a very busy person. I love to always have something to do and usually I’m running from class to a meeting or wherever . I’m involved in a social sorority, the Association for Latin American Student (ALAS), the Bradley Speech Team, Phi Chi Theta (a business honors fraternity), I work at the Admissions office and I am also working with my start up company Memwas. (you’ll hear about that later).

Well I’m headed to work! Yeah for the leaves finally turning colors!! Fall is one of the most beautiful seasons out here in the Midwest! I love it <3
