Hello adoring fans. Sorry it has been so long since my last update. I’ve been super busy with class and work and taking in all that Bradley has to offer! So much has been going on so I’ll recap this past week for you. This past weekend was parent weekend, which means lots of events on campus. My favorite in particular was the JOEL MCHALE CONCERT! If any of you watch the TV show, The Soup, you know Joel McHale as the attractive and witty host who discusses the recent media and reality shows. The concert was downtown at the civic center and was only $5 for students!!! Well, my friends and I are huge fans of Joel, so I was in line an hour before tickets went on sale in September. Needless to say, we were front row. It was awesome. I felt like he was telling his jokes just to me…and the rest of the sold out theater. Sadly, I didn’t get to meet him after the show but I’ll always remember how close I was to that stage.

In other news, I’m a senior. Yesterday I applied to graduate. ACCEPTED. That’s right, May 15th, 2010, I will start the trecherous job search. Luckily, I have been talking to my some of my professors and they have been giving me awesome advise for after I graduate.

I’m also picking out my schedule for next semester. One of the highlights: American Sign Language. I’m really excited for this. I’ve always had a base knowledge of sign language, but with this class I hope to perfect my skills.

This weekend is Halloween. I’m really pumped for this, but I’m still not sure what to be (yes, college kids still do dress up). I’m sure I’ll figure something out.

Well that’s all for now! Let me know if you have any questions or comments!

So, yesterday was Bradley’s first glimpse of spring. It was fantastic outside. The high was 67, the sun was shining and everyone was happy to not have to wear their winter coats. Unfortunately, the quad is still a little muddy from the snow, so not too many people were out playing frisbee, however some were! I was so excited because I got to go for a run outside. I love working out in Markin, but when the weather is nice, I love to run around Bradley’s campus and surrounding areas. I think it was exactly what we needed because I know personally, I’m sick of heat and am ready for windows open! Today however, is a little different weather wise. It’s not as warm and it’s rainy outside. I’m glad I was able to get outside on campus yesterday because now I can tolerate the winter-like weather for a little longer.

Classes are going well. I’m starting to get further into the semester, and that means projects and homework galore. Joy! Well have a good week and make sure to email me with any questions, comments and concerns.

We got here on Sunday, and leave a week from this Sunday. 2 whole weeks! This weekend I’m going to Paris during our free travel time. Every morning I have class from 8:30-11. After that we are free to roam about the city and do whatever. Bradley also organizes some events throughout the weeks. Tonight they were going to see Wicked. I’m going to see it next week with my class, otherwise I totally would have gone with them. I’ve seen the Tower of London, Changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, the eye of London (a huge ferris wheel) and many other things. I’m having such a blast. This is such a good experience that Bradley offers, I highly recommend everyone to study abroad. So fantastic. Alright well I am off to work on a little bit of homework and then who knows! Have a good one! I’ll write when I’m back in the states!

Hi everyone! Well I’m home for winter break, though not for too long, you may remember that I’m headed to London for a J-Term! Anyway, finals went well, just waiting to see what my final grades are, I think I did pretty well! So, right before finals, my roommate and I got pretty festive around our apartment. Unfortunately, my technology skills are not up to par and I can’t figure out how to load pictures. We got a real Christmas tree, 7 ft. We were able to drag it up the 3 flights of stairs with the help of one of our friends and also needed some assistance getting rid of the tree before we left for break. Other than that, I’m really excited to take some time off and relax. I’ll try to blog again after the holidays, if not, the next time I blog will be in London!!!!! Get ready for an exciting blog from and excited Sarah!

Have a happy and safe holidays!

HI! Hope everyone is doing fantastic. I am! I’ve been so busy but I’m so excited. Tonight my friends and I are having a Thanksgiving dinner at my apartment. I’ve been wanting to do this since freshman year, but I’m not sure how a turkey in the microwave would work out. But this year, after moving into an apartment, we are totally ready for the best/worst Thanksgiving every. I started baking and cooking last night and it was fantastic. I love holidays. After my roommate and I get back from Thanksgiving break, we’re going to pick out a real tree as well. We are going to decorate every part of our apartment. Get ready for pictures.

Last night on my way to the library I had the pleasant suprise of seeing the new “Bradley Lights” on the trees down the main strip of campus. They are red and white and really make campus look festive and school-spirited. It’s great

Well, I think that’s about all for me today. I will let you know how the Thanksgiving turns out! Maybe I’ll even get some pictures of my spectacular cooking skills! Have a good week!

Hi Everyone, this update will be fairly short. I’m unfortunately quite sick :o( I came down with a cold earlier this week and have been trying to nurse it since. I’ve been so busy with school work that I haven’t even had time to go to the health center on campus, which has now been moved to the brand new Markin Center! Hopefully I can make some time today to make a visit to see if there is anything they can do to make me feel not so yucky. Other than that I’ve been at my computer pretty much non stop. I’ve had 3 papers due this past week and 2 more over the next coming weeks. Yikes. In addition to that I regisitered for my classes for this Spring! I’m taking a spanish class, an english class, a philosophy proseminar and two psychology classes! It looks like it’s going to be a good semester.

Also if anyone would like to start the countdown until when I go to London for J-term with Bradley, feel free. I will start it now…

56 Days until I leave for London!!!!!

Alright everyone, have a good week. Stay warm, don’t get sick. Let me know if you have any questions!

The title of this blog explains how the weather has been lately. Cold. I’m not complaining though! I love the cold weather, scarfs and hoodies are the best. This past weekend was parent’s weekend. There were a ton of parents on campus, it was pretty cool. My parents came in town on Saturday. We did a few of the activities on campus that were scheduled for the parents weekend, such as the Magician we had on campus! They also got to come into the admissions office here where I work to take a peek where I spend a lot of my time! The weekend was great because they took me to a nice dinner, bought me all new groceries and brought my warmer clothes down, which was in perfect time for the weather change. Unfortunately, I think I went a week too long without winter gear, because now I’ve come down with some sort of cold–gross. Earlier this week I went into Markin, the new recreation center, to work out. It was fantastic. I can’t even put into words how amazing this rec center is. AWE-SOME. Other than that I’ve been staying crazy busy. Papers, Papers, Papers. I have soo many to do this week, so I’m just taking it one at a time. This weekend is Halloween and I’m pretty excited for that. There is a lot going on Bradley’s campus, including a showing of the Rocky Horror Picture show tomorrow night! I personally am dressing up as miss Hannah Montana…my roommate is going as Miley Cyrus. Perfection. If anyone has any good costumes let me know! Otherwise any questions? Things you want me to write about? Just send ‘em my way! Have a good one!

That title makes me sound kind of professional doesn’t it?! Well anyway the title is true. The leaves are changing and my favorite season is well on it’s way here at Bradley. Last weekend was Bradley’s fall break. I was able to go home for a few days but had to be back on campus for our HUGE Columbus day visit day. I gave two tours to some fantastic families, so if you guys are reading this..hope you enjoyed the day! It’s now mid-term time so there is a huge crunch to get projects, papers and tests in…I can’t say I love any of those things but it’s ok. This coming weekend is Parents weekend! I am so excited. This is a pretty good time of the year for parents to come visit because our campus is gorgeous…and everyone is running out of food so it’s a great time for the parents to come and buy our groceries! There’s a lot going on campus next weekend with all the parents coming down. There is a magician as well as other events for the parentals to go to. Thursday will officially open the Markin Recreation Center. Woo Woo! I am so excited. The only down side is this means I have to start working out again, but in this state of the art center, I think I can manage! Well that’s about all I’ve got for today. It’s beautiful outside today so I have a feeling studying is going to take a backseat so that I can go outside and play in the leaves…

Have a good week everyone! Make sure to email me with any questions!!!

So this past week has been our Homecoming week here at Bradley! It all started Wednesday night when they lit the bright red “B” on top of Bradley hall. I heard it was awesome. Our theme was Indiana Jones this year so there was a man dressed up as Indiana Jones who rapelled down from the top of the building. WHOA! Also that night there was a Foam Party on the quad. This is where they fill an area completely in foam and people just dance and have fun in it! It was a little too cold for me to play in foam that night, but I heard it was a lot of fun. There was a lot going on the whole week, Friday was our Founder’s day, so we got to have all our classes cancelled from 10-12 for a convocation. Saturday was the huge homecoming soccer game! I was there for the tailgating and had so much fun!!! It was awesome to see all the alumni back at the game. Loved it!

Also this weekend I got to see our theaters production of Pirates of Penzance! It was phenominal. Shout out to all of our STARs in it! You guys did fantastic! Also President Joann Glasser made a cameo in the musical…too cool!

Alright well I’m out for the day.
