ALMOST DONE!

Ok, so I’ve been saying it all year:  It’s going by way too fast! In less than a week I’ll be back in good ol’ Berea, which is both a positive and a negative. Enough of that talk, though, something super exciting happened yesterday. One of my life-long dreams came true at a time I never expected it. My western civ teacher thought it was a really nice day (and it was) and our normal classroom was running late, so…..WE HAD CLASS OUTSIDE!!!! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! This was seriously a long-term goal of mine, especially since the weather got nicer. But it’s so weird because I totally didn’t even see it coming! Unfortunately this the last time we’re going to meet as a class….finals officially start on Thursday. I had my first one yesterday for my biology class. The professor for that class only teaches part-time and said that the “regular” final time conflicted with another thing, so she made yesterday (the last day of that class) the final. It’s really nice because it relieves some stress for the rest of the week. Wednesday is a mandatory study day, which basically means time to hit the library! That’s my plan, at least.

It’s really just freaky to think that 1/4 of my college career is over. It really makes you stop and wonder what you’re really doing with your life and what really matters, which I think is an awesome thing. It kind of throws things into perspective. Personally, I’m really involved already here at BU, but I also applied to be on staff (ARA/RA) but I’m not sure if I’ll have the time to devote to it because my other activities, like chorale (which I need the credit for my music minor), On The Rocks, my job,  and let’s not the all-too-important free time. So I’ve got some thinking to do this summer, but it all depends if I get hired, too. They won’t let us know until after finals are over…so we’ll wait and see!

Speaking on studying…I’ve got the whole afternoon free so I’m going to get a head start on some studying for my finals later in the week.

If you’ve decided to come to BU in the fall…congrats! If you’re a junior and are starting your college search and want a real life in-depth look at college, make sure to check back on this page and read some of the blogs!

Peace, love and sunshine,

Kevin
