Back To School!

Hey all! I’m sorry I didn’t post over break, I forgot my computer at home can’t get onto the right website to blog…oh well. Here we are, back at school.

Classes are going really well for me so far. I’m taking a biology class, a speech class, a course about western civilization since 1600 (which is actually not as boring as it sounds), an intro to psychology course, and a few other classes for my major, including a journalism class. All of my professors have made it clear that they love what they do and want us to take something away from the class, and what’s awesome is I already have! The biology class is really an eye-opener for me: I normally wouldn’t take a biology course, but since I have to for the general education requirements, it’s really quite fun and not boring and dull as I thought it’d be.

Now, onto dorm life. I have a new room! It’s just across the hall from my old one, they needed to move me around to make room for some other people. Which is fine by me!

Things here around the office are starting to speed up, too. A lot of you all have your applications in or are getting them in so we’re getting lots of mail and lots of work! But trust me, it’s better than sitting around here bored. If you guys don’t have your applications in by now I would strongly encourage you to GET GOING! The sooner you get them in, the better your chances of getting more financial aid. Also, you’ll get your admissions decision sooner!

But in all seriousness, to all you high school seniors out there: enjoy your last semester and live it up. And get excited- you have even more fun stuff ahead of you in college!
